Meet The Artist

Canadian native, Florida raised artist, Natasha Mikazans has been creating art since 1994. At an early age, her work has showcased in several museums and art shows throughout South Florida. Welcome to the 2020/2021 horror series.

Unlike many of her contemporaries, she is primarily self-taught and has her own approach to - and definition of - art. She believes in constantly taking risks and finds inspiration and beauty in areas others may not.

"I love horror and the masterful storytelling that goes into them. There's few stories that get your heart racing and make you feel like you're on the edge of your seat, quite the way scary stories do. A famous horror director once said "You never feel more alive than when you're scared."
